Kayode Sulola - Senior Investment Analyst at Fuse Capital
Kayode Sulola takes on on the role of Senior Investment Manager. He comes to us with a solid background in debt finance, with experience ranging from bespoke corporate lending, Real Estate Finance and Debt advisory.
Before joining us, Kayode spent 2 years as an Associate Director at KPMG in their Debt Advisory team. There, he worked on developing structured debt solutions for mid-market borrowers in the hospitality, consumer and Real Estate space. Improving financial outcomes for clients and stakeholders. His approach to problem-solving and ability to craft effective financial strategies, within a large lender network were highlighted during his tenure.
Kayode also held several debt product roles at Barclays, most notably as Vice President in Debt Origination for Real Estate, where he was involved in the structuring and negotiation of investment and development transactions for clients within most real estate sectors, from private landlords to larger housebuilders. This role required a keen understanding of market dynamics, credit analysis, and the ability to manage complex transactions—skills that Kayode mastered and brings to his role at Fuse Capital.
In addition to this, he spent 6 years in the Barclays transaction management team and executed over 100 debt transactions for a wide range of borrowers in various UK, US and EMEA segments. Loan sizes ranged from £3m to £200m+, and loan terms were negotiated within bilateral and multi-banked facilities, giving him a strong understanding of market appetite. He also perfected handling the process for debt transactions from start to end.
Kayode has also been involved with ESG mandate, notably executing the inaugural green loan at Barclays.
